Membersip Categories
Qualifications for Fellowship
Diplomates certified by the American Board of Spine Surgery and in good standing are eligible to apply for Fellowship in the College.
Qualifications for Regular Membership
An applicant for Regular Membership must be certified by, or eligible for, either the American Board of Neurological Surgery or the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Qualifications for Corresponding Membership
An applicant for Corresponding Membership may reside either within the United States or outside the United States. He/she must be a member in good standing in one of the national orthopaedic, neurosurgery or spine surgery organizations of the country where he/she practices medicine.
The applicant must devote the majority of his/her practice to spine surgery or be actively engaged in the teaching or research of spine surgery.
Both Fellows and Regular Members may serve on committees, hold office,
and vote. Corresponding Members may serve on committees but are not entitled
to hold office or vote. |
